- Hi my name is Wendy Kucera and Iam from a small town in
- Northern Idaho called Bonners Ferry. In my English class we are
- doing reseach papers, and mine is on atibiotics in milk and dairy
- animals. I have found information on how to prevent shipping
- contaminated milk and on marking treated animals. I live on a dairy
- farm so I understand the precautions associated with shipping milk
- for commercial use but what I have not found is what effects, if
- any, these atibiotics have on humans. In my reading I have come
- across only 22 atibiotics that can be tested but there are over 78
- atibiotics that can be given to a sick animal that can get into the
- milk. The 22 drugs I have read about the names have never been
- listed. I have read through several issues of Succesful Farming,
- Dairy Herd, and Dairy Today but I have not had any success. I would
- appreciate any replys on a magizene issue that may held answer some
- of my questions or if anyone knows any of answers I would greatly
- appreciate it.
