  11.      Hello, my name is Adam Clark.  I am a very concerned teenager
  12. that lives in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.  At our local grocery store,
  13. the food baggers usually ask me if I want my groceries in a paper
  14. or plastic bag.  Which one is actually better in enviromental
  15. terms? I don't know, you tell me!
  16.      I realize it must take alot of trees to make paper bags, which
  17. are used in stores across our nation everyday.  I also realize that
  18. harmful chemicals are used in producing plastic bags and they are
  19. harmful when deposited in our land fills.  Both plastic and paper
  20. can be recycled, but not everyone recycles.
  21.      Whenever I walk away from getting the groceries, I wonder
  22. which of the two harm the enviroment the least and which one I
  23. should have asked for.  Which one would you ask for, paper or
  24. plastic?
