- To begin, let me apologise for posting this on a board where
- it obviously does not belong.
-
- I have a friend who is currently attending Worcester Polytech
- Institute, and he is interested in finding a graduate program
- that centers on the history of mathematics.
-
- According to Donnie, my friend, he wants to be able to attend
- a program that covers the _entire_ history of mathematics
- (something that overarches all of mathematics and not, say,
- from Calculus and up). He is interested in the theories and the
- development of mathematics through time (and God knows, I've
- heard him state time and time again that, to him, Math is an
- art and not a science). He is interested in the theoretical as
- opposed to the practical.
-
- At any rate, if anyone knows of a graduate program that specializes
- in the history of mathematics, please e-mail the name of the school.
-
- Once again, I apologise for posting this on the wrong board.
