  12. To begin, let me apologise for posting this on a board where
  13. it obviously does not belong.

  15. I have a friend who is currently attending Worcester Polytech
  16. Institute, and he is interested in finding a graduate program
  17. that centers on the history of mathematics. 
  18.  
  19. According to Donnie, my friend, he wants to be able to attend
  20. a program that covers the _entire_ history of mathematics 
  21. (something that overarches all of mathematics and not, say,
  22. from Calculus and up).  He is interested in the theories and the
  23. development of mathematics through time (and God knows, I've
  24. heard him state time and time again that, to him, Math is an
  25. art and not a science).  He is interested in the theoretical as
  26. opposed to the practical.

  28. At any rate, if anyone knows of a graduate program that specializes
  29. in the history of mathematics, please e-mail the name of the school.
