  11. You're kidding - you have homework??!  HA!  Just kidding - I've got a boatload
  12.  to do this vacation, and I haven't started yet.  I hate it when short stories
  13. turn out to be an inch thick in actuality.  English teacher LIE!  :-|
  14.        Just kidding (in case my teacher's reading or something.)  Anyway,
  15.  itis supposed to snow down here sometime this week, but the weather forecast,
  16. according to some local news anchor, is "a little tricky."  Okay, is that
  17.  descriptive or what?
  18.        Driving is not all it is cracked up to be - it is definitely not
  19.  necessary to drive, although it is a lot of fun.  I got a speeding ticket goin
  20.  60 in a 45 - and the cop wasn't even using radar - he was following right
  21.  behind me.  Don't speed when it's midnight and there's no one else around - in
  22.  fact, don't speed (at least not too much).
  23.        I'm in the Portland Youth Philharmonic down here, which is a pretty
  24.  good youth orchestra, and tonight we had a concert at the Civic Auditorium
  25.  downtown.  It was supposed to have a Christmas theme, so we had a harp
  26.  concerto and some really good dancers during the concert.
  27.        Oh well.  It is getting late, and my father probably wants me to get
  28.  off of the computer so he can sleep - he just got home from Korea today.  He
  29.  missed Christmas with us, too.
