  12.      Hey!  Thanks for writing back!  It sounds like Muskegon it a
  13. lot more fun than Joplin is.  
  14.      Well, coming from a farming family probably isn't much
  15. different from any other family--but it is much more BORING!!!
  16. I spend most of my summer out at one of our farms, driving truck
  17. or doing very boring odd jobs.  Some times I get to mix chemicals
  18. for my dad and other fun stuff like that.  
  19.      When I don't have to go out to the farm, my friends and I do
  20. anything but stay in town.  
  21.      It sounds like you are a lot like me.  I like all kinds of
  22. sports, but it is really easy to get on a team here!  I have been
  23. starting for two years on the varsity team in basketball and
  24. volleyball.  That doesn't sound like a very big deal, but
  25. actually it is.  There is enough people to make it difficult.  
  26.      Well, I'm glad you aren't a nerd.  In our school you are
  27. either a jock or a nerd.  I am proud to say I am a jock--not a
  28. nerd!
  29.      What do you do at your job?  I don't have a job for two
  30. reasons--I don't have time, and there aren't many places to get
  31. jobs here.  
  32.      Well I should go.  Class is almost over.  Thanks again for
