- Greetings to Dennis Shepard from the Pacific Northwestland USA!

- DS> C64's and C128's can run BBS's but you will need two drives

- DS> to can maintain BBS's
-
- Well, I sorta knew that there was some C64 BBS software called Color 64, but
- without a hard drive, it's a little tough. No wait a second... That's not
- right. I'm thinking of IBM, Mac, and Amiga. (There goes my 11:00 bell,
- featuring Bill & Ted yelling out "Excellent!" for every hour) On the 64, files
- can get as small as 1 simple byte. The smallest thing on my HD is 1K, which is
- 1,000 bytes. If I ever have the money now, I'll probably get Tabby (the
- program that imports/exports FidoNet mail through the BBS software), but I
- won't get Mansion or TeleFinder. Instead I'll use it for my point off Sea/Mac,
- 1:343/31.14. Nick 8->

- P.S. Do you have two 1541 disk drives? If so, here's a hint: Turn them on, let
- them warm up, put a tray on them, put hot dogs on the tray, let them cook, and
- then you will be in the hot dog business. The 1541 drives have internal power
- boxes, so they get very warm and can cook things if you stack a few of them up
