First of all Jim, I have met the Governor, he supported my
campaign--although I did not feel that I should publicize that
fact, I have his letter of support in a file right next to one
from James Record. I didn't publicize that stuff, but not
because I felt it would harm me.. I just wanted to see how I
could do on my own.
 Second, Governor Hunt can't do tax reform by himself. It takes
a willing legislature to get it acomplished. Remember the Fob
James Constitution? That was a great idea which died because the
Legislature would not back it.
 About Governor Hunt's agriculture position, I have never read
anything about it, I have done a lot of Microfilm reading at the
library and have not run across it yet. If you tell me the year
this ccured I would be happy to go back and check it out.
 About supporting the GOvernor, I will. Until someone PROVES he
is guilty I am not going to hang him high.
 Yes, I still believe in the Constitution and the Bill Of
RIghts.
  It was very pleasant to see you again at Mickey Dees the other
day. Perhaps we shall throw a similar gathering here soon
(similar to the one I met you at :)
