- Go to the netmail area (area two on this system). Enter a message addressed
- to "UUCP" (without the quotes). When it asks what address, enter the
- address of our local zonegate (1:373/12). In later versions of the software
- (that I haven't gotten around to installing yet) it will enter the address
- for you, and also the internet address if the message is a reply or is
- addressed to someone in the lookup table. After entering the subject and
- answering one or two other questions, you get to enter the actual text of
- the message body. Very important, the first line must contain "To:"
- followed by their internet address. I use this all the time, and it works
- well going both directions. It will obviously work better when the software
- fills in a lot of those answers for you, but I've been lazy about
- installing the new software.

- That is indeed the case. Unfortunately, mailing to anyone in fidonet or
- internet for that matter is just as easy. In fact, since the arsenal has
- such brain dead routers, it's considerably easier to send mail for me from
- the fidonet side, rather than use my account out on the arsenal.
