- There is a hsv hierarchy; this group is hsv.general in the internet
- side of things.

- Well, there's a gateway at a Fido site (Micro Magic, I think) that
- gets a feed from InteGraph (ingr.com). Also, there's a big difference
- between news and email on the internet side. News is posted to a
- group, which is usually concerned with a specific topic, and it's
- not necessary to know anyones' address to do so. Email is addressed
- to one or more specific persons, and will only be seen by them.
- It's been 6 or 7 years since I last used a bbs, and have no idea
- what the equivalent is on the fido side.

- By the way, there's another addressing standard out there, called
- X.400. Anyone who thinks Fido or internet addressing is wierd will
- be blown away by that; the address are longer than most of the
- signatures I've seen. Unfortunantly, that's what the world is
- moving to....
