- As I'm sure many of you know, groff 1.06 doesn't compile easily on a Sun
- running SunOS 4.1.2 with gcc/g++ 2.3.3 (and several earlier versions of
- g++ 2.x). So, I'm looking for advice on how to accomplish this task.
- I've tried copying files from gcc-lib/.../include and /usr/include to a
- new directory and ANSI-izing them, but this is a tedious and discouraging task.
- I keep thinking that somebody must have already done this for all the relevant
- include files. Have they, or is this a dead-end?
- Another thing I could try is to use the Sun SPARCompiler C++ 2.01
- (I think that's the right version), for which I have a license. I haven't
- installed the Solaris 1 version of this, but I could. Would this be easier?
- Would this work?
- Any other helpful advice would be appreciated. Please respond by mail.
- Thanks.
