  14. The FONTS.DOC file states that GS can deal with .PFB and .PFA files
  15. directly.  I changed GS_LIB to point to the ATM directory for Desqview
  16. X and added
  17.  
  18. /TM  (tir_____.pfb) ;
  19.  
  20. to Fontmap.

  22. When I try to access the font (i.e. /TM findfont) I get:

  24. Loading TM font from c:\dvx\...\atm\tir_____.pfb... 626416 605403 0 done.
  25. Loading TM font failed, substituting Ugly.
  26. Loading Ugly font from uglyr.gsf (etc...)
  27.  
  28. I tried other .pfb fonts from the directory, and also from another
  29. machine with ATM for windows installed.  All recieved similar errors
  30. (the numbers were the only differences).  I also tried renaming the
  31. files (to get rid of underscores) and to place them in the normal GS
  32. font directory.  All with the same results.  All of the GS fonts load
  33. and work.

  35. Any ideas??

  37. I already have all those nice fonts on the machine, seems a waste to
  38. not be able to using in GS as well. (Instead of the outlines based on
  39. bitmaps that are included)

  41. Did I miss something in the documentation??
