  15. Sorry for this typical FAQ...

  17. I have been using emacs for about one year, and I'd like to switch to
  18. epoch, at least while not connected through my home modem.

  20. What I'd like now is a consistent set of keyboard definitions, for
  21. creating screens with *most* of the new buffers; delete a screen with
  22. the buffer it displays, in case there is only one; automatically name
  23. the screens and the icons with the buffers; switch to the already open
  24. screen where a given buffer is displayed...
  25.  
  26. These should be integrated with the various major modes: dired, gnus,
  27. buffer menu, and so on...
  28.  
  29. At start, it feels to require a tremendous amount of work, if I want
  30. to do this myself. But without that, I don't quite understand the
  31. utility of epoch, so, I guess that there must be something like that
  32. available... Am I right?
