  14. I assume there must exist solution for my problem in the emacs world.

  16. I'm looking for a emacs code which displays (possibly in the subject line
  17. of the emacs) if some new mail for me has coming in.

  19. At my workstation with X-windows "xbiff" does this nicely.
  20. However, at home I have only a PC, running a remote emacs. 
  21. In this case I find it quite boring looking every other hour
  22. if there is any new mail.
