  17.    When I attempt to compile Emacs 18.57 I get the following error message:

  20. *** Segmentation fault - core dumped
  21. make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `xemacs'
  22. Current working directory /fuj/files/emacs-18.57/src
  23. *** Error code 1
  24. make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `doall'

  28. By the way, I had to edit the file ./src/ymakefile and change -loldX to -lXt.

  30. I would greatly appreciate any help you may have to offer regarding this
  31. error message.  Thanks in advance.
