  14. MIAMI AMIGOS CLUB INFORMATION

  16.     The Miami Amigos User Group (Amigos) is a non-profit
  17. organization for the promotion of the Commodore Amiga Computer,
  18. support for its members and social outlet for people with a common
  19. interest.  Meetings offer special guest speakers, software
  20. demonstrations, and an oportunity for members to display their
  21. computer efforts.  The club also offers a technical help line and
  22. support for its members as well as a forum for new ideas,
  23. applications and questions.   The Amigos also offer a video, book
  24. and magazine library that members can sign out as well as social
  25. interest group meetings to address individual problems.  Annual
  26. dues are $25.00/year.  Several area computer stores provide
  27. discounts and special offers to club members.  The club maintains a
  28. library of over 500 Public Domain disks including the entire Fred
  29. Fish Collection as well as our own Disk of the Month disk.  The
  30. Nervous System BBS (554-9332), Starlight BBS (948-0183), Flipside
  31. BBS (596-6711) and The Last BBS (456-0126) support the Club with
  32. special Amigos sections and Unlimited Downloads for Club members
  33. who are also members of the BBS.

  35.     Aside from the open forum, raffle, and questions and answer
  36. periods, the meetings also feature a mounthly P.D. Disk of the
  37. Month Demo, D.O.M.s and Fred Fish disks are also on sale every
  38. month.

  41. MEETING DATE
  42.     The club meets the third Saturday of each month. The meeting
  43. place is the Dade County School's data processing training center at
  44. 13135 SW 26th St Coral Way and 132nd Ave. just west of W.R. Thomas
  45. Jr. High. Meeting hours are from 9:30 AM until ...
