  30. According to the information I got from a commercial BBS, COMPAQ machines 
  31. look to have something special(incompatible?) in hardware or BIOS.
  32. That might be the cause of the phenomena described above. 
  33. The bootable disk image and "fixit" file for COMPAQ could be found in 
  34. some commercial BBS like NIFTY-serve or anonymous ftp/uucp sites.
