  20. I recently got R5 and going through the XDrawArc man, i found it different
  21. (is it a mistake?) from the R4 manual ( From "The X Window System",
  22. X11R4, Robert Scheifler & James Gettys, Second Edition).

  24. Here are the parts of XDrawArc that differ..

  26. [The R5 online manpage..]
  27.  For an arc specified as
  28.      [ x, y, width, height, angle1, angle2], the origin of the
  29.      major and minor axes is at [x+width, y+height], and the
  30.      infinitely thin path describing the entire circle or ellipse
  31.      intersects the horizontal axis at [x, y+height] and
  32.      [x+width, y+height] and intersects the vertical axis at
  33.      [x+width, y] and [x+width, y+height].
