  18. I have a RS/6000 POWERstation 220 running AIX 3.2.  I am interested
  19. in learning about AIXwindows and how to write a 'C' application that
  20. uses the X-windows environment.  As of right now I don't have access
  21. to any of the IBM manuals that cover this topic in depth.  I do feel
  22. that the IBM manuals are not the best ones to learn from but they do
  23. make good references.
  24.
  25. Can anyone suggest any good books on X-windows programming in 'C'?
  26. I don't know if just any X-windows programming book will do or if I
  27. need one that specifically covers AIXwindows!
  28.
  29. I would also be interested in some small programming samples of
  30. X-windows applications.  Are there any FTP sites that would have
  31. any coding samples or would any of you have any samples you would
  32. like to share.  I am talking small and simple examples because I
  33. know very little about 'C' and almost nothing about X-windows!
  34.
  35. Thanks in advance!
