  27. Actually mwm is one of the few window managers which isn't free, olwm is
  28. freely available as part of the xview package.  There are dozens of free
  29. window managers ( well more than one dozen anyway).

  31. There are a few variants which support virtual screens, and are otherwise
  32. like their parent program.  I can't offer much advise with regard to the
  33. original question, because I happen to like twm ( I've already spent the
  34. hours hacking it into shape), I just wish it had a better control
  35. language to allow me to have the menu scripts responds to program return
  36. codes, etc ( any hints out there?).
