- X11R5, all fixes through 21, SunOS 4.1.3, ELC
-
- I rebuilt everything with HasXdmAuth and HasSecureRPC (Yes, I got
- Wraphelp.c :-) ). Now if I start xdm, then start 'Xsun -broadcast'
- I get a login box, but the auth string is MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1, not
- XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1. What do I have to do to get xdm to use
- other auth strategies?
-
- Also, (how) can I use XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 with xinit? I tried
- xauth add :0 XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 [random hex string]
- and Xsun -auth ~/.Xauthority, but attempting to start clients
- under that configuration results in unable-to-open-display
- sorts of messages. What do I put in place of [random hex string]
- in the xauth line for XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1?
