  20. I rebuilt everything with HasXdmAuth and HasSecureRPC (Yes, I got
  21. Wraphelp.c :-) ). Now if I start xdm, then start 'Xsun -broadcast'
  22. I get a login box, but the auth string is MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1, not
  23. XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1. What do I have to do to get xdm to use
  24. other auth strategies?

  26. Also, (how) can I use XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 with xinit? I tried
  27. xauth add :0 XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1 [random hex string]
  28. and Xsun -auth ~/.Xauthority, but attempting to start clients
  29. under that configuration results in unable-to-open-display
  30. sorts of messages. What do I put in place of [random hex string]
  31. in the xauth line for XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1?
