- ok, thanks once more the helpfull advice. After examining the responces of my
- last post, it seems this may be a mouse problem.
-
- 1) This is a B29-Mouse from Taiwan and some of the specs are as follows:
- 1200 Baud
- 2/3 button mode selection
- Microsoft and PC mouse compatible
- 2) Even after considerable experimenting with the different mouse settings in
- Xconfig, the server (Xfree86 1.0YA/SLS.98pl5) won't take respond to the
- mouse. The same things, i.e., xclock and then the bash icon and the xterm
- frame. When the frame happens, the server stops.
- 3) My mouse is on ttys2, modem on ttys1 as stated in Xconfig.
-
- Has anyone out there had any similar experiences with this mouse or know of the
- fix for this problem? (Maybe it would be a lot less headache to buy a mouse
- named in Xconfig).
-
- thanks,
