  18. We recently purchased Quest Motif for our Sun III's
  19. and got it installed (I think).

  21. Unfortunately, when I try startX from any account, it simply takes me
  22. right back to the csh prompt without doing anything.

  24. When I try running "X" manually, the console hangs and needs to
  25. be rebooted.

  27. We would call Quest but they are gone for the holidays until January 4th.

  29. Perhaps someone here will recognize the symptoms so we can get to
  30. back to work before January 4th.
