  20. Normally, there is a startup file that gets executed when
  21. you run startx.  I believe the name of the file is
  22. '.startxrc' or something like that.  Your problem might be
  23. that when X starts up, all it does is start up the Xserver, 
  24. it dosen't start up any clients, such as xterm.
