- i was with Stephen chan when we went to that 'clean and lean' place.
- yes, it is close to cp, and it does have some facilities, but singularly
- un-impressive, and i noticed that there was no-one there, including spotters
- or assistance, and it was a little pricey for the facilities offered.
- the north gym is okay, if you have access.... however, it isn't always
- available to non-university people. and the hours are okay but limited.
- the place you want is ritzworld gym (formerly a gold's gym franchize,)
- at the corner of randolph road and georgia avenue in glenmont (silver spring)
- across from the fire station. the man who owns and runs it is john ritz miller,
- and is a former competitor. he runs a 'no frills'/non-meatmarket type of gym,
- and offers excellent equipment and a great price. right now, he is offering a
- special, and it is a pre-upgrade price. use my name (that you heard it from
- me and on the net...) and it might help; he is a personal friend.
- the hours are ludicrous... something like 06:00 to 24:00, 7 days a week,
- and if you have a special need, he is quite willing to work out the scheduling.
- he also offers private showering facilities, and lockerrooms for both
- men and women, a complete line of apparal, training equipment, trainers
- available, and dietary supplements, etc., all at reasonable costs. (the only
- thing outrageous (pricewise) is non-training 'name-brand' apparal.
-
- check it out, and good luck....
-
- and, as always, i am/at:

- i never thought that there were corners in time
- 'til i was told to stand in one.
- one straight line head on into the other; maybe standing
- in a corner looks like where its got to go....
- but i'll pretend that one wall is the past,
- and one is the future, and i'll stand here like the present
- looking for a good place to run!
