  24. You can get temp tags to operate the vehicle for a limited amount 
  25. of time on the public highways, for a specific purpose (to get
  26. it inspected, or for transport point to point.

  35. Current laws that restrict the transportation of handguns only address
  36. loaded handguns (in all but a few places).  An unloaded gun, in a 
  37. box in the trunk of a car, is nearly always in compliance with the 
  38. law.  Even if that changed because of some new licensing deal, a
  39. FFL (Federal Firearms License) holder can transport, for the purpose
  40. of sale, firearms in all 50 states.  Note that all an FFL does is 
  41. allow someone to do business selling guns across state lines, and 
  42. it is in no way a permit to carry or otherwise use firearms.
