  10. I'm using XFree86 on a 486/33 with Tseng et4000. It is really
  11. faster then X386, but still slow ( maybe because I normally use
  12. an Hp 720 workstation). What is very slow is xterm scrolling .
  13. I'm very intersted in getting an S3 card for the XS3 server, but i'd like
  14. to have some more information about performance increase.

  16. How much is the S3 card and server faster than Et4000 and XFree86 ?
  17. For Windows I know it is 10-20 time faster. Is the same for X ?
  18. Does xterm scroll in a reasonable way in XS3 ?

  20. Does every S3 based card work with XS3 ?
  21. Can anyone suggest me a fast and common S3 card for XS3 ?
