- Hello netters.
-
- Recently, I installed the XFree86-1.1 binaries from blancmange.ma.utexas.edu
- on my Interactive 2.02 system.
-
- The X386mono server worked correctly with my Mono monitor, But the resolution
- left a lot to be desired. So I barrowed an IBM 8515 monitor from a friend
- to play with the Color server (Hopefuly at 1024x765) and see how much better
- that would look.
-
- Well, I've hit a snag. The Person I barrowed the monitor from can't find the
- manual, so I have had no luck figuring out what to put in the Mode lines
- of the Xconfig file. I have tried the Standard lines that came with the
- Xconfig.sample file in the Distribution with no Luck. Would Some kind sole
- who has one of these monitors please send the the timing info on it, or a copy
- of your Xconfig file?
-
- If It makes a diference, I am using an ATI VGA Wonder XL Video card with
- 1mb of memory.
-
- By the way, These monitor and vedio card Xconfig's would be a great thing
- to archive somewhere....
-
