  10. Hi all,

  12. I am trying to get X8514 working under 386BSD.  The computer has an ATI
  13. Ultra video card and a NEC MultiSync 4FG monitor.  I got past several
  14. Xconfig problems, but now I'm stuck.  I get the following message:

  16. Fatal server error:
  17. Attached monitor not capable of displaying 8514!
  18.  
  19. Ouch.  Does this mean I can only use this video card if the monitor
  20. is 8514 compatible?  Would I have the same problem with the Linux
  21. 8514 server?
