- Hello!
- I am purchasing a new system tomorrow and the video card that comes on it is a
- Cardinal 24bit windows accelerator. About the only thing that the sales lady
- could tell me about it was that is uses a Cirus (sp??) accelerator chip. I don`t
- know if this means it has a normal VGA chip set plus the accelerator or what.
- I looked up Cardinal boards in a magizine I have and it said nothing
- about a 24bit board. Either it is new, or the ad is wrong. My main questions are,
- does anyone have the board? and if so does it work with Xfree? I don't need 24
- bit color support or anything like that in X, just a running server (mono is even
- fine). Thanks in advance for any help.
