- This is one of the worst layer violations X11 has. There's no solution
- but to install multiple sets of bitmaps. Perhaps something has been done
- with the fonts to allow dynamic conversion to snf (?).

- I am interested in working on this as well as the interlacing problem
- mentioned in an earlier posting. I'd like to get the mfb running on
- interlaced and banked cards. If anyone else is interested in working on
- this send me e-mail. We'll form a mailing list and try to divide the
- tasks. I'd appreciate it if only people with serious interest (and
- resources to match) contact me.
