- You did not say if this was IBM's X11R3 for AIX/RT or your own
- built X11, but here goes:
-
- For IBM's X11R3 lpp product, you most likely are missing the
- /usr/lpp/X11/defaults directory and the files therein.
- On my system these are:
-
- total 268
- drwxr-xr-x 2 root system 288 Jan 23 1990 .
- drwxr-xr-x 8 root system 528 Feb 2 1990 ..
- -rw-r--r-- 2 root system 14020 May 1 1989 .Xkeymap
- -rw-r--r-- 1 bin bin 1471 May 1 1989 X.txt
- -rw-r--r-- 1 bin bin 2189 Jul 20 1989 Xdefaults
- -rw-r--r-- 1 bin bin 325 May 1 1989 Xfonts
- -rw-r--r-- 2 root system 14020 May 1 1989 Xkeymap.us
- -rw-r--r-- 1 bin bin 1582 Jul 20 1989 Xset.txt
- -rw-r--r-- 1 root system 1771 Jan 23 1990 Xtools.txt
- -rw-r--r-- 1 bin bin 31170 May 1 1989 keymap.uk
- -rw-r--r-- 1 bin bin 34079 May 1 1989 keymap.us
- -rw-r--r-- 1 bin bin 8116 May 1 1989 keymap.vt
- -rw-r--r-- 1 bin bin 1754 May 1 1989 vtkeyboard
-
- The aixwm window manager needs those text files to build up its
- popup memus, and what functions to invoke, and for the button bindings.
-
- Make sure that you also have the directory
- /usr/lpp/X11/messages
- These contain the XLib error message database file.
