- Can one be notified that a window has been iconified?
-
- I have an application where there are many windows created and dismissed
- by the user and one main window which is the group leader.
- In openwindows everything works fine when they are transient windows.
- ie. easy dismissing, resizing, moving, and when the top level window is
- iconified/deiconified they all disappear and reappear in their former places
- because I made them "transient_for" the main window.
-
- Unfortunately some window managers do not allow transient windows to be
- moved, resized, or dismissed at the window manager level. But when I make
- all windows top_level and tell them who the group leader is they don't
- disappear when the main window is iconified.
