- To say that my new 486DX2/50 computer doesn't like vpix is like saying
- you don't like being run over by a car: When I start vpix, the computer
- locks up and dies, to be recovered only via the reset button or The Big
- Red Switch.
-
- I recently upgraded my computer from a 386/25 with no 387 to a 486DX2/50.
- All I did was take the hard disk out of the old computer (which died, anyway)
- and stick it in the new one. When I tried out vpix, though, the above
- results occured.
-
- I hope someone out there knows about this problem and can help. I don't
- use vpix often, but it is quite handy for certain things.
-
- BTW, this is vpix version 1.2.0n running on Xenix 2.3.3.
-
- Thanks.
