- The problem will NOT be with getting "tar" to resynchronize - there is
- an option designed for that, and if the SCO "tar" is too brain dead
- to have that option, then the very portable and powerful GNU "tar"
- utility does have it.

- The problem is that there is an end-of-file marker followed by
- an end-of-tape marker at the end of the small amount of data at
- the beginning of that tape, and I do not know how to get the tape
- drive and SCO tape driver to let you position the tape beyond
- that end-of-tape marker and still read more data from the tape.
