- I am currently maintaining a small Ultrix MicroVAX with RD54 and TK50.
- The last time or two I booted the standalone TK50, I got a bunch or
- retries on the boot. After cleaning the tape head, it only failed
- once or twice before loading the standalone kernel properly.
-
- How can I back up this tape or build a fresh one from a running Ultrix
- system? I read the FAQ about copying setld(8) tapes. Is the standalone
- tape in setld(8) format?
-
- Thanks much,
