  13. I am currently maintaining a small Ultrix MicroVAX with RD54 and TK50.
  14. The last time or two I booted the standalone TK50, I got a bunch or
  15. retries on the boot.  After cleaning the tape head, it only failed
  16. once or twice before loading the standalone kernel properly.

  18. How can I back up this tape or build a fresh one from a running Ultrix
  19. system?  I read the FAQ about copying setld(8) tapes.  Is the standalone
  20. tape in setld(8) format?
