- What version of ULTRIX are you running? It sounds like you're running
- a version that used xcons to catch console messages and now you have
- xcons turned off. In V4.2 these things were caught by the session
- manager (dxsession). I think in V4.2A or V4.3 they were caught by
- xcons. I don't have a system handy that is using xcons, so I don't
- what you want to change.
