- We have a DecStation 5000/200 with Ultrix 4.2, currently with two
- RRD42 CD-players connected. This DS works as a file server in a
- network of other DecStations, Macs and PCs. The PCs communicate with
- the DS via PC-NFS 3.5b. The problem I'm having is that PC-NFS mangles
- all filenames containing uppercase letters on the server, and all files on
- CDs shows up on the DS with only uppercase letters. PC-NFS does nothing
- special to lowercase-only filenames, so they will look OK on a PC.
-
- What I'm looking for is a patch for the cdfs part of the kernel such
- that filenames appear in lowercase letters only. Has anyone seen such
- a patch?
-
- Please reply by email, and I'll summarize to the net. Thanks in
- advance.
