- I'd say within 234 months CDROM will become the pre-dominant media for distribution
- of DOS software. That will push the envelope for 386 UNIX as well. You can already
- get SCO on CD-ROM. Within a year or two it will dominate for all of the low end
- UNIX products. It costs less. It's less prone to piracy (not immune, but a little
- harder). Look for someone like SCO or Univel to basically make CD-ROM the standard
- format with tape extra $$ and floppies extra $$ * 2.
