  23. I'd say within 234 months CDROM will become the pre-dominant media for distribution
  24. of DOS software. That will push the envelope for 386 UNIX as well. You can already
  25. get SCO on CD-ROM. Within a year or two it will dominate for all of the low end
  26. UNIX products. It costs less. It's less prone to piracy (not immune, but a little
  27. harder). Look for someone like SCO or Univel to basically make CD-ROM the standard
  28. format with tape extra $$ and floppies extra $$ * 2.
