- Let's be real clear about this.

- Dell does indee ship GNU stuff (including the GNU C compiler, or so
- I'm told) but it doesn't comp from Cygnus, nor was it developed solely
- by them.

- In fact, I'm the one who ported GCC to SVR4. If you get a copy of the
- source code for GCC, just look at the configuration files and you'll
- see my name near the top of each of the ones relating specifically to SVR4.

- Unfortunately, the fact that I did the fundamental work needed to port
- GCC to SVR4 has never stopped Cygnus from trying to take full credit
- for all of that work. Needless to say, I find this rather slimy on
- their part.
