- Fine, so why can't you upgrade from the initial release of Dell r4
- to the current one? Or even reinstall the core files without losing
- everything you have done? It wouldn't matter all that much if
- there were a simple way to back up your system configuration
- and modifications separately from the files that come with the
- distribution so you could just dump them back in after an upgrade
- or re-install.
