  16. Way back when Turbo Pascal/C first came out I figured that vendors would
  17. finally figure it out, but many haven't.  I once worked for a company with
  18. an outstanding product, but who pretty much priced themselves out of existence.
  19. They charged differently for different *models* of machine.  A license for a
  20. Sun 3/50 cost less than a license for a 3/60, for example, and they all cost
  21. outrageously.
