- That depends entirely on the intelligence of the person who wrote the
- particular device driver for the particular hardware and operating system
- you are using. For example, Digiboard's drivers for the PC/8e work
- perfectly (setting B0 then B2400 lowers and raises DTR, as does closing
- and opening the port), while Intel's drivers for the i410 card won't
- raise DTR again until you terminate the process group leader of the
- process that opened the port originally, and perform a new "first open"
- with a new process group (at least that was the only way I could do it).

- What hardware are you using? If it's an IBM-PC clone with 16450 UARTs
- or better, install FAS. If it doesn't work the way you want, "use the source,
