  11. Hi,
  12. I need to determine the shell that would be used to execute
  13. a line that is produced from within a program.  An example is
  14.     eval 'some-program'
  15. where some-program returns a shell command to be executed.
  16. The program needs to know what shell will be used so it
  17. can generate a compatible command.  I hope this explanation
  18. is reasonable.  Please respond if possible via email to
  19. gary@netcom.com since I don't always get a chance to read
  20. this group.  I have looked through some of the FAQ's but
  21. haven't located anything on this subject.
