- Hi,
- I need to determine the shell that would be used to execute
- a line that is produced from within a program. An example is
- eval 'some-program'
- where some-program returns a shell command to be executed.
- The program needs to know what shell will be used so it
- can generate a compatible command. I hope this explanation
- is reasonable. Please respond if possible via email to
- gary@netcom.com since I don't always get a chance to read
- this group. I have looked through some of the FAQ's but
- haven't located anything on this subject.
-
- Thanks in advance,
- Gary
