  13. I have trouble input multi-byte 8-bit characters with tcsh and cxterm.
  14. I am using tcsh version 6.03.00, cxterm version 11.5.1, Solaris 2.1FCS,
  15. X11R5 patchlevel-16 on Sun 4/75.

  17. If I use csh or sh, I have no trouble inputting multibyte 8-bit
  18. characters (as long as I do a "stty -istrip").

  20. If I use tcsh, I can read multibyte 8-bit characters with no problem
  21. (so the fonts stuff is fine); however, if I try to input a multibyte
  22. 8bit character, I get two ascii characters back.

  24. I have read the tcsh manual section 26 on NLS but I am still confused.
  25. Would someone please give any hints?  Thanks!
