  24. I think the title was there to sell BYTE, which sadly to say, is 
  25. not the magazine it was, I almost never but it now whereas in the 
  26. past ...

  28. Personally, I reckon the article was an NT hype. I have little or 
  29. no time for this type of nonsense after all is Windows even 
  30. running properly yet? Perhaps a better title might have been "Is 
  31. MS-DOG dead?" as after all this is what NT will replace, I 
  32. somehow don't think that DEC/Digital are going to junk all the 
  33. investment they've made in OSF/1 and Ultrix tomorrow. Do the real 
  34. users of PC's really need or require multitasking etc, now that's 
  35. more of a realistic investigation after all I doubt if every PC 
  36. user has switched to Windows or OS2 yet.
