  31. The reason I want to rm the file is that I want to have a background
  32. script deal with this on a system where I am charged for access time.
  33. I don't want the clock ticking while I type "mail," "d*," "q" -- but
  34. I haven't figured out how to do that in a shell script.  Otoh, I
  35. *have* figured out how to "rm /usr/spool/mail/$USER" in a shell
  36. script.
