  11. A beginner question:

  13. How can i use the chdir() call in a program and have it affect
  14. the current directory of the parent process?  Is there some
  15. tricky way of telling the shell (csh in this case) to do a cd?
  16.  
  17. If this is a FAQ, i apologise.  Pointers to sources of
  18. information about how a child process can affect the environment
  19. of its parent would be very welcome.
