- Well, the entire 386BSD SRC01 /usr/share/man/man*, plus the mandoc macros
- to format it, fit on a single 5.25" floppy as a compressed CPIO archive. I
- know... I just put it all on one.

- Given a clever database, you could build a random-access structure that would
- hold all that information with little expansion (say, compress before cpio
- using a fixed compression table optimised for the data, plus an index to
- the start of each entry in the cpio), so a few MB for BIN01, ETC01, and
- FreeX86 manuals sounds about right.
