- Fujitsu has developed and markets a version of System V, R4 for
- mainframe class machines. This operating system is known as
- "UXP/M". There are several large systems running this O.S.
- including the worlds largest UNIX system (an Australian
- Government Department support over 1,000 users on a single
- machine).
-
- UXP/M is a true UNIX implementation (as opposed to a shell
- under another operating system) for IBM 370 architecture machines.
- Fujitsu also markets a full line of mainframe systems known as
- the "M-Series".
