- Hello all,
-
- I made a new kernel with gcc2.3.3. However, it doesn't boot up
- properly, but continue endless rebooting.
- Does anyone have similar problem? Did you solve this already?
-
- I parched the source code tree with diffs from Mr.Van Der Linden
- (vdlinden@fwi.uva.nl). I made gcc2.3.3 with some minor amending.
- However, the compilation was very straightforward, doesn't have
- big hitch. This gcc2.3.3 could compile other programs (ex: X11
- clients) correctly. I checked it.
-
- I also tried to compile the same kernel source tree with the
- original 'cc' (= gcc1.39). It works fine. No boot problem.
-
- Should I have to re-compile bootblocks (sd) with gcc2.3.3 ?
-
- Any response will be welcome.
- Thank you.
